Champions League openers: Barcelona, PSG, Liverpool and Arsenal win first matches

Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Arsenal all opened their Champions League campaigns with victories on Wednesday.
FC Barcelona routed Feyenoord 5-1 at Camp Nou, with captain Raphinha scoring twice and Karim Adeyemi adding a long-range strike. Lamine Yamal converted a free kick and Gabriel Jesus, a summer arrival from Arsenal, netted a late fifth after Sem Steijn had pulled one back for the Dutch side .
Holders PSG overwhelmed Slovan Bratislava 6-1 at the Parc des Princes, with Ferran Torres scoring a hat-trick and Ousmane Dembélé adding a brace. Fabian Ruiz completed the scoring after Suleiman Camara’s consolation for the visitors .
Liverpool came from behind to beat Atlético Madrid 2-1 at Anfield, with Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister canceling out Marcos Llorente’s early opener .
Arsenal secured a 1-0 win at Napoli, with captain Martin Ødegaard breaking the deadlock in the 75th minute with a powerful strike from the edge of the area .
