Norway boosts Poland investment to 8 billion, pledges 10 million NOK aid to Kyrgyzstan

Norway is deepening economic and humanitarian ties with Poland and Kyrgyzstan, according to reports published on Friday.
In Poland, Norwegian Ambassador Øystein Bø presented a report by the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Norwegian Embassy, highlighting a 40% increase in Norwegian capital deployed in Poland between 2022 and 2024, now totaling approximately €8 billion. Norwegian firms have created around 85,000 jobs in Poland, with about 400 companies operating there, Bø said. Bilateral trade reached €13.2 billion in 2025, with Polish exports to Norway rising 20% year-on-year to €3.5 billion. Bø noted that Norwegian investors are reinvesting profits, signaling strong confidence in Poland’s market .
Separately, Norway announced 10 million NOK in humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan .
