Josje Huisman will temporarily return to K3 in December, replacing Hanne Verbruggen during her maternity leave for the Studio 100 SingAlong in Symphony shows in the Netherlands and Belgium. Huisman, 40, confirmed the comeback in an interview with RTL Boulevard, stating she will perform songs from her original tenure with the Belgian-Dutch girl group and take on Verbruggen’s parts.
Huisman, who was a permanent member of K3 from 2009 to 2015, told RTL Boulevard she is eager for the reunion but must first re-familiarize herself with the group’s repertoire, as most of the songs will need to be re-learned. She described the upcoming performances as “sowieso een feestje” — “definitely a party” .
The Studio 100 SingAlong in Symphony events will feature K3 alongside other Studio 100 artists, with Huisman stepping in for Verbruggen, 32, who will be on maternity leave .
