Romanian prosecutors have filed new charges against Andrew Tate, accusing him of exploiting a 15-year-old victim in a human trafficking case, according to court documents submitted to the Bucharest Tribunal.
Transcripts included in the case file, reported by Digi24 and Adevărul, reveal conversations in which Tate allegedly imposed strict rules on the victim, including forbidding her from leaving the residence without his permission. In one exchange, the victim protested, saying, “I did everything to make you happy. I can’t lock myself in the house and annoy you when I try to have fun, to have a day off. I’m not a prisoner, a slave.” Tate’s reported response was, “You don’t go anywhere unless I say it’s okay. You’re not allowed to go out” .
Prosecutors from DIICOT allege Tate recruited the victim in 2012 using the “loverboy” method, convincing her of a romantic relationship while coercing her into pornographic content production and videochat work. Authorities claim approximately 80% of her earnings were seized by Tate and his brother. The victim was reportedly transported repeatedly from the U.K. to Romania and housed in properties in Voluntari, Tunari, and the Pipera area.
The case file also includes allegations of physical violence. In one incident, Tate is accused of placing his hands around the victim’s neck and demanding she explain to a camera why she was being hit. The victim, crying, allegedly responded, “Because I don’t listen” . Prosecutors describe the violence as part of a broader control mechanism involving threats, emotional pressure, surveillance, and restricted movement.
