Romanian poll shows AUR party leading with 40% support as 80% say country on wrong track

A recent poll conducted by the Romanian Institute for Evaluation and Strategy (IRES) on behalf of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) reveals that 80% of respondents believe Romania is heading in the wrong direction. Only 18% think things are going in a good direction, while 2% did not respond.
The poll also shows that the AUR party would lead if parliamentary elections were held soon, with 40% of the vote. The PSD would come in second with 21%, followed by the PNL with 17%, and USR with 10%. Other parties like UDMR, SENS, SOS România, and POT would receive smaller percentages of the vote.
In Spain, the latest barometer from the Center for Sociological Research (CIS) indicates that the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) has regained support and is now 7.9 points ahead of the People's Party (PP) in voting intentions. The PSOE is at 33%, while the PP is at 25.1%. The survey was conducted between July 1 and 6, 2026, with 4,020 interviews.
In Estonia, a recent poll by the Institute for Societal Research and Norstat Eesti AS shows that the Social Democratic Party (SDE) has lost support, while the Isamaa and Center parties have gained. Isamaa is now the most popular party with 26.6% support, followed by the Center Party with 22.5%, and the SDE with 13.7%. The poll was conducted between June 8 and July 13, 2026, with a sample size of 4,000 voting-age citizens of Estonia.
In Poland, a recent poll by IBRiS shows that the Civic Coalition (KO) is leading with 31% support, followed by Law and Justice (PiS) with 25%, and Konfederacja with 14%. The poll was conducted between July 2 and 3, 2026, with a sample size of 1,071 respondents.
