Police in Poland are investigating the deaths of three individuals found killed in separate incidents, authorities confirmed on Monday.
In Larnaca, Cyprus, a 39-year-old homeless man and recognized political refugee was arrested after attacking a police officer during a welfare check late Monday night. Officers initially approached the man, who was lying on the ground in an open area, to ensure his safety. He became enraged upon seeing the officers, shouted threats, and assaulted one of them before being detained and remanded in custody .
Meanwhile, in Groningen, Netherlands, a 49-year-old man from Westerwolde was killed in a stabbing inside a care facility in the village of Bourtange on Sunday evening. A 46-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with the incident .
Additionally, in Spain, authorities are investigating the deaths of two men, identified as Ramón and Luis, who were found dead in the street, as well as a woman discovered deceased about a kilometer away. While speculation has emerged about possible drug-related causes, security forces have not confirmed this line of inquiry .
The cases remain under investigation by local police in their respective jurisdictions.
