The inaugural ECOLE MONT-OLIVET Grand Slam in Lausanne concluded on Sunday with gold medals awarded in five weight categories. Uzbekistan’s Umar Bozorov won the -90kg final against compatriot Nurbek Murtozoev, securing his second Grand Slam title. Germany’s Anna Monta Olek claimed gold in the -78kg division, defeating Yelyzaveta Lytvynenko with a waza-ari and controlling the remainder of the contest.

Medal ceremonies included presentations by Uzbekistan Judo Federation President Azizjon Kamilov, Harvest Group CEO Almaz Alsov, and French Judo Federation President Stephane Nomis.

Àlex Palou secured his fifth IndyCar title in six years, winning the championship after a rain-delayed race in Milwaukee. The 29-year-old Catalan driver now trails only Scott Dixon’s record of six titles. Palou finished 10th in the final race, maintaining a 97-point lead over Kyle Kirkwood and 137 over Christian Lundgaard .
Estonia’s Janika Lõiv placed 17th in the mountain bike world championships in Val di Sole, won by Switzerland’s Sina Frei. Lõiv described the race as grueling, citing cramps and mechanical issues. In disc golf, Finland’s Eveliina Salonen won her second world title in Milford, U.S., leading from the second round despite challenging conditions .
