Bad Bunny concert in Milan canceled after storm injures spectators during evacuation

The concert of Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny in Milan was interrupted and eventually canceled due to a severe storm with large hailstones on Saturday evening. Approximately 80,000 spectators were evacuated from the venue, and several were injured by the hailstones.
The concert was taking place at the Ippodromo Snai La Maura in Milan, which was the second and final stop of Bad Bunny's "Debí tirar más fotos" world tour in Italy. The storm hit around 8:30 PM, and initially, organizers asked the audience to stay in their seats, hoping the storm would pass. However, as the weather conditions worsened, authorities decided to evacuate the area.
Several spectators were struck by large hailstones and suffered head injuries. Medical services were on site to provide assistance to the injured. The evacuation process was coordinated by the Milan provincial fire department, and the Uruguay subway station was closed early to manage the flow of people leaving the venue.
According to a statement from the organizers, the concert will not be rescheduled. Ticket holders will receive a full refund, including a 15% booking fee. The decision was made after assessing the damage and the weather conditions.
Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and producer known for his influence in the reggaeton, plena, and salsa genres. The concert in Milan was part of his world tour, which has included stops in various European cities.
