A high-pressure system will bring dry weather to Ukraine on Wednesday, with an anticyclone moving from Romania toward the country’s central regions, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center. Northwestern winds will dominate, with cooler air at higher altitudes, resulting in nighttime temperatures of 6–12°C and daytime highs of 20–25°C in most areas. Eastern regions will see cloudier skies, keeping nights slightly warmer at 10–15°C but days cooler at 17–22°C. Kyiv and its surrounding region will experience variable cloudiness, dry conditions, and northwesterly winds of 5–10 m/s, with temperatures around 10°C at night and 21–23°C during the day .
In Central Europe, warm air flowing behind a high-pressure system centered over the Balkans will influence conditions, while a cold front linked to a low-pressure area over Scandinavia advances from the northwest. Slovakia will see clear to partly cloudy skies overnight, with lows of 6–13°C and patchy fog or low clouds. Daytime temperatures will remain warm, though cooler in the Orava region and near the Tatra Mountains, with light winds shifting to southerly at 2–7 m/s .
Meanwhile, Poland will experience a split in weather as a warm air mass brings temperatures of 25–26°C to the south and east, while a frontal system approaches from the west. The front is expected to reach northwestern Poland by early morning, bringing cloud cover, rain, and potential thunderstorms. By midday, the system will extend toward Gdańsk, Bydgoszcz, and Zielona Góra, with heavy downpours of 15–25 liters per square meter, wind gusts up to 70 km/h, and possible small hail in Lubusz, Greater Poland, and Lower Silesia. The front will continue eastward, reaching Olsztyn, Sieradz, and Opole by evening .
