Le Pen leads in French 2027 presidential polls against Philippe, Mélenchon and Socialist candidates
A new OpinionWay poll shows Marine Le Pen leading in multiple scenarios for France’s 2027 presidential race. In a projected runoff against Édouard Philippe, Le Pen secures 55 percent to Philippe’s 45 percent. Against Jean-Luc Mélenchon, she leads 67 percent to 33 percent, according to the survey conducted Sept. 9–10 with a sample size of 935 .
In a first-round scenario with Raphaël Glucksmann as the Socialist Party candidate, Le Pen polls at 34 percent, followed by Mélenchon at 17 percent and Philippe at 15 percent. Glucksmann trails at 9 percent, with other candidates including Gabriel Attal at 7 percent and Bruno Retailleau at 7 percent .
When Ségolène Royal is the Socialist candidate, Le Pen leads with 33 percent, while Mélenchon and Philippe tie at 17 and 16 percent respectively. Royal registers 3 percent, with Attal and Retailleau at 8 and 7 percent .
In a scenario with François Hollande as the Socialist candidate, Le Pen polls at 32 percent, with Philippe and Mélenchon at 16 percent each. Hollande garners 7 percent, while Attal and Retailleau follow at 8 and 7 percent .
