Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha condemned the attacks, stating that “Putin’s terror is knocking directly on the doors of the EU and NATO” and urging stronger sanctions against Russia .
Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed the strikes targeted railway infrastructure used for military transport, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Moscow had “deliberately” struck the locomotive .
