Según su web, es Licenciada en Derecho y diplomada en Relaciones Laborales. Fue árbitra de fútbol federada y entrenadora personal. Sabe lo que es decidir bajo presión. Preside Zeolandia y se persona en los tribunales en asuntos de interés general. Este domingo, además, acudió a la manifestación por las colonias de gatos. Además de todo esto, Jaén ha estado implicada en política. Apareció como la última de la lista del Partido Animalista contra el Maltrato Animal (PACMA) para las elecciones municipales de Cádiz de mayo de 2015. En los comicios europeos de junio de 2024 fue candidata de Iustitia Europa y ya en mayo de 2026 encabezó la lista por Almería de Se Acabó La Fiesta, el partido de Alvise Pérez. Si bien no se conoce el programa de SALF en materia de medio ambiente (ni en ninguna otra), en septiembre de 2024 Pérez votó en el Parlamento Europeo en contra de dar subvenciones europeas al toro de lidia, por considerar que no se debe destinar dinero público a un espectáculo de brutalidad, crueldad y tortura animal. SALF, por cierto, se ha quedado fuera de la causa de Ceuta, en la que acusaban al Rey de Marruecos por crímenes de lesa humanidad porque, según el auto, no aporta la menor justificación ni explicación.
