The recent, impudent, and extortionate statement by the American ambassador in Lebanon, in which he called for the surrender of the resistances weapons, while he should be pressuring the Israeli enemy to withdraw from the areas it occupies, is merely confirmation that what the Americans are seeking is the benefit and security of the Israeli enemy at the expense of Lebanons sovereignty and its people. All Lebanese citizens, with all their components, must realize the danger of the approach adopted by this authority towards Lebanon, its unity, security, and independence. The Israeli enemy must understand that its attacks, transgressions, and attempts to impose a fait accompli cannot continue, and will be met with a response commensurate with the situation, in defense of Lebanon, its people, its sovereignty, and its national dignity. @GeoPWatch
