Retailers slash prices on high-end PC hardware and gaming devices in US and Europe
A wave of discounts on high-end PC hardware and gaming devices emerged on Thursday, with retailers slashing prices on prebuilt systems, monitors, and accessories.
Walmart listed a CyberPowerPC gaming desktop for $1,549, down from $2,139, featuring an Intel Core i7-14700KF processor, 32GB of 6000MHz DDR5 RAM, and an Nvidia RTX 5070 Founders Edition GPU with 12GB VRAM. The system includes a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, a keyboard and mouse, and a one-year warranty, with its case offering adjustable RGB lighting and extensive cooling .
Newegg discounted the ASRock PGO27QSA-W, a 27-inch OLED gaming monitor, to $299.33 from $476. The display supports QHD resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium, and deep black levels. Amazon also reduced a two-pack of Anker Zolo MagSafe wireless chargers to $25.99 from $39.99, with each Qi2-certified charger supporting up to 15W of power .
In Europe, Cdiscount cut the Samsung Odyssey OLED G5 G50F monitor by over 40%, lowering its price to €264.99 from €459.99 with a promo code. The 27-inch QD-OLED screen offers QHD resolution, 180Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time, HDR10 support, and OLED burn-in protection .
