Train collision with car in Frankfurt disrupts U-Bahn service: no injuries reported

A collision between a car and an above-ground U-Bahn train occurred at a crossing in Frankfurt’s Dornbusch district on Tuesday, according to police. The damaged car was removed from the intersection, and the scene was cleared within about an hour. In the Netherlands, ProRail confirmed that the suction effect of a train was not the cause of a fatal accident at Bijlmer station, according to a statement reported on Tuesday .
