Romania’s national lottery operator, Loteria Română, held its Sunday draws on Aug. 30, 2026, with jackpots totaling millions of lei across multiple games, according to reports from HotNews, Digi24 and Adevărul.
The Loto 6/49 top prize reached a rollover of over 3.11 million lei (more than €592,000), while the Noroc game offered a cumulative rollover exceeding 4.32 million lei (over €823,100). The Joker draw featured the largest single rollover, with more than 5.11 million lei (over €972,600) at stake for the first category, alongside a second-category rollover of nearly 500,000 lei (over €95,000). Noroc Plus had a first-category rollover of over 733,100 lei (over €139,400), Loto 5/40 offered a first-category rollover of over 757,500 lei (over €144,000) and a second-category rollover of over 47,100 lei, and Super Noroc’s first-category rollover surpassed 389,700 lei (over €74,100) .
The draws followed a Thursday session on Aug. 27, when Loteria Română awarded 18,111 winning tickets totaling over 1.42 million lei, the reports said.
In Hungary, the national lottery operator Szerencsejáték Zrt. conducted its weekly six-number draw on the same day, with the winning numbers 8, 11, 16, 19, 34 and 35, according to HVG. No ticket matched all six numbers, leaving the 140 million forint (approximately €370,000) top prize unclaimed. Seven tickets matched five numbers, each winning slightly more than 2 million forint (approximately €5,200) .
