Dutch radio presenters Jan-Willem Roodbeen and Jeroen Kijk in de Vegte launched their new morning show on Radio 10 on Monday, marking their departure from NPO Radio 2. The duo, who previously hosted a successful morning program on NPO Radio 2, told ANP they were eager to begin after weeks of preparation. “I’ve been thinking for three weeks: let’s just start already,” Kijk in de Vegte said . Roodbeen added that during their vacation, they frequently considered how to incorporate songs or news items into the show but lacked the platform to do so at the time.
The move to Radio 10, a station that has recently seen a decline in listeners, follows their decision to seek a new chapter in their careers, as they told NU+ . Radio 10 was previously known as Radio 10 Gold.
Elsewhere in Dutch radio, Queen’s *Bohemian Rhapsody* claimed the top spot in the Radio Veronica Top 3000, displacing *Radar Love* by Golden Earring, the station announced Monday .
In television, Spanish network Antena 3 began its new season with several premieres. On Wednesday, the channel will debut *La Mesa*, a weekly live format hosted by Cristina Pardo, covering current affairs. Prime-time additions include a new season of *La Voz*, with Eva González returning as host and coaches Mika, Lola Índigo, Pablo López, and Melendi. The network will also air new episodes of *La Ruleta de la Suerte Noche*, led by Jorge Fernández and Laura Moure, following its strong ratings in the previous season. In fiction, Antena 3 will premiere *Las hijas de la criada* on Thursday, an adaptation of Sonsoles Ónega’s literary success, and the Turkish drama *El secreto* in the coming weeks .
Meanwhile, NPO 2 will feature a new series of *Vrije Geluiden*, the VPRO music program, with episodes focusing on artists and musical styles from around the world, the broadcaster announced Monday .
