LX Pantos completed a €140 million logistics center in Katowice, Poland, on Oct. 6, marking a strategic expansion of its European network. The facility, jointly acquired with Korea’s KIND and the PIS No. 2 Fund, spans 109,000 square meters across five buildings and is positioned in Upper Silesia, a key transit hub linking Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and broader European markets. The company stated the center will serve as a gateway for distribution in Eastern Europe and support Korean firms entering the region .
The development aligns with broader industrial shifts in Poland, where a defense and logistics conference scheduled for Oct. 14 in Katowice will address strengthening domestic production capacity and European resilience. Organizers emphasized the growing role of defense industry as a pillar of national security, with discussions focused on scaling industrial output and supply chain resilience .
