The film, produced and written by Steven Knight, follows the brothers during their 2025 Oasis Live’25 tour, which spanned 41 concerts from July 4 to Nov. 23, 2025, across cities including Cardiff, London, Tokyo, and São Paulo. Directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace captured the reunion from rehearsals to the final show, framing it as a story of reconciliation between the brothers and with their fans. A Manchester priest’s sermon on forgiveness is woven into the narrative as a metaphor for their reconciliation.
Knight, known for creating *Peaky Blinders*, joined the project after Liam Gallagher’s team approached him in late 2024. On the red carpet, Liam Gallagher hinted at a potential 2027 tour, though no official announcement was made .
The documentary, set for a Belgian theatrical release on Wednesday before streaming on Disney+, marks the first public appearance of the Gallagher brothers together since their 2009 split, when a backstage dispute led to the cancellation of an Oasis concert at Paris’s Rock en Seine festival .
