Russian forces launched 295 drones, including Shahed-type and jet-powered variants, at Ukraine, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting 267, the Air Force reported. In Zaporizhzhya, Russian drones damaged a municipal hospital, setting treatment rooms ablaze, while in Odesa Oblast, a DTEK vehicle carrying energy workers was struck, killing one employee and injuring another, according to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration. Zelensky stated that eight regions had come under attack since morning, including Odesa, where a double-tap strike on a postal facility killed one person, and Zaporizhzhia, where a medical clinic was hit.
Russian regions also reported damage. In Perm Krai, Governor Dmitry Makhonin said air defenses downed 39 drones, with one person killed in an attack on an industrial facility. In Ulyanovsk, Governor Aleksey Russkikh reported eight injuries after strikes on industrial and civilian infrastructure. Voronezh Governor Aleksandr Gusev claimed 88 Ukrainian drones were downed, with four people injured and debris damaging non-residential buildings. The Russian Defense Ministry said it destroyed 592 Ukrainian drones and targeted logistics centers in Odesa and Nerubaiske, as well as a drone assembly site in Boryspil.
