El Consejo de Ministros aprueba este martes un real decreto para garantizar el acceso de estas personas a todos estos servicios, tanto públicos como privados, con autonomía y sin discriminación. Este real decreto, elaborado por el Ministerio de Derechos Sociales y Consumo, trata de asegurar que estas personas puedan comprender la información, comunicarse y orientarse en los entornos y realizar actividades con autonomía y sin discriminación, indican fuentes ministeriales. La accesibilidad cognitiva es el derecho a comprender la información que nos proporciona el entorno y dominar la comunicación que mantenemos con él, especifican en Asuntos Sociales. Además, deben poder hacerse con facilidad las actividades de esos entornos sin ningún tipo de discriminación. El reglamento incluye herramientas como el lenguaje claro, la lectura fácil y los sistemas aumentativos. También la utilización de señalización accesible o pictogramas para mejorar la realización de tareas y soluciones tecnológicas que mejoran la comunicación, la orientación y la realización de tareas. Los ámbitos a los que se aplican, según el Ministerio, abarcan las telecomunicaciones, los espacios públicos, edificios e infraestructuras, los transportes, los servicios ciudadanos, las relaciones con la Administración Pública, la participación en los procesos electorales, el patrimonio histórico y cultural y el empleo. Desde Asuntos Sociales destacan el carácter universalista de una norma que pretende beneficiar al mayor número posible de personas con dificultades de comprensión: personas con discapacidad intelectual, daño cerebral adquirido, autismo, problemas de salud mental o parálisis cerebral, personas mayores con deterioro cognitivo, en situación de analfabetismo o migrantes qeeue no dominan las lenguas del Estado.
