At least 1,500 soldiers from Britain, France and Germany will deploy to Poland in November for NATO exercises designed to train for a potential European troop deployment to Ukraine after a ceasefire, according to reports by Polish and British media citing *The Times*.
The drills will focus on logistical coordination, including the delivery of fuel, food and other essential supplies, a critical task for any future allied contingent on Ukrainian soil. British officials confirmed the exercises to *The Times*, which also noted the maneuvers aim to deter further Russian aggression beyond Ukraine’s borders.
Participating troops will rehearse troop transfers and support operations, with forces from Poland also involved in the exercises, according to an OSINT report. The training is explicitly framed as a preparation for a possible post-ceasefire mission in Ukraine, with allied logistics a central priority.
