Zrinjski crushed Željezničar 4-0 at Grbavica Stadium in a Bosnian Premier League match on Saturday.
The visitors dominated from the start, with Ivančić opening the scoring in the 34th minute with a 25-meter strike into the top left corner. Bilbija then doubled the lead in the 35th minute, rounding Abdulahović after a through ball from Ilić. Bilbija added a third in the 40th minute, tapping into an empty net from Ćuže’s assist. Mamić sealed the rout in the 77th minute with a precise finish after Ilić’s pass.
The match began with a minute of silence for deceased Željezničar fan Amer Džane. Play was briefly halted in the 17th minute when home supporters lit flares along the north and east stands. Many Željezničar fans left before halftime, and more departed as the scoreline widened.
Željezničar’s best chances came from Lagumdžija, who shot just wide from 20 meters in the 42nd minute and was denied in the 45+2nd minute. Karačić made a key save in the 57th minute after a defensive error, while Cunha missed the target after replacing the injured Dabo, who had been on the pitch for less than 10 minutes.
Zrinjski’s lineup included Karačić in goal, while Željezničar started Abdulahović between the posts. The home side made substitutions at halftime, introducing Dabo and Šošić for Ibrišimović and Korora. Željezničar’s Raščić was later replaced by Jovanović in the 82nd minute.
