A Democratic-led House Judiciary Committee report released this week accuses President Donald Trump of raping former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Keul in 1993 at New York’s Plaza Hotel.

Keul, then 24, told committee investigators she traveled from Zurich to attend Trump’s “American Dream Pageant” in Manhattan, where Trump promised her a US visa and help enrolling at New York University during a lunch, according to the report . After Trump stepped away, Jeffrey Epstein approached her, introduced himself as “Don’s best friend,” and invited her to a party at Mar-a-Lago, saying he could arrange flights and accommodations, the report states .

Later that day, a Trump representative invited Keul to his suite, where she alleges Trump grabbed her from behind and raped her, tearing her dress and causing bleeding and bruising, the report recounts . After the assault, Trump allegedly repeated his offers of assistance and told her, “The show must go on,” according to the Democrats’ summary .

Keul previously told the Daily Mail in October 2024 that Trump had kissed and groped her at the Plaza Hotel, but the new report provides the first detailed account of rape, which Democrats say is corroborated by other witnesses from the pageant . She declined to participate in another Trump-sponsored event in Hawaii and later rejected his renewed visa offer in a phone call, the report notes .

The report also includes allegations from four other women, including Stacey Williams, who accused Trump of groping her at Trump Tower in 1993 in what she described as a “twisted game” with Epstein . Democrats state the accounts paint “an unmistakable picture of a conspiracy involving abuse and human trafficking,” with three additional witnesses claiming Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell provided women to Trump .

The White House denied all allegations, calling the report a “desperate attempt to distract Americans” and insisting Trump has been “fully exonerated of anything related to Epstein” . Democrats on the committee demanded an independent special counsel to investigate Trump’s ties to Epstein, citing conflicts of interest and obstruction by the Justice Department . The report was published a week before the November 3 midterm elections.
