The U.S. strikes have resulted in casualties, with at least seven soldiers killed and hundreds injured, according to Iranian state media. The strikes also targeted a military barracks in the province of Sistan and Baluchistan, resulting in the deaths of several soldiers and injuries to many others.
U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened further strikes on civilian infrastructure if Iran does not return to negotiations. In a statement, Trump said, "She is now safely outside of Iran, and in good condition," referring to the release of an American citizen who had been detained in Iran since December 2024.
