The economic strain of the conflict has contributed to rising oil prices, with Brent crude futures jumping 24% after a ceasefire unraveled last month, according to Reuters . Iran’s Houthi allies in Yemen have also threatened the Bab el-Mandeb strait, another key oil export route .
